Emmanuel Andrews Sammini, known by his stage name Samini, is a renowned Ghanaian reggae and dancehall recording artist born on 22 December 1982 in Accra, Ghana. Formerly known as Batman Samini, he has left an indelible mark on the music scene with his melodious fusion of highlife, dancehall, reggae, and hip-hop, terming it "African dancehall."

Samini's music story began at 14 when he sang in a church choir. In 1999, he turned professional, and alongside, he pursued a bachelor's degree in Project Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). In his last year at GIMPA, he took on the role of President of the Students Representative Council (SRC).
Samini kicked off his thriving career with the 2004 debut album "Dankwasere." Since then, he's dropped seven successful studio albums, gaining international acclaim and collaborating with stars like Sean Paul and Jay-Z. His impact on the music scene earned him the "Best African Act" at the 2006 MOBO Awards and several other prestigious honors.
