Formed in 2005, 5five is a dynamic hiplife music group hailing from the Adabraka ghettoes in Ghana. Comprised of Luther Azamati (Pappi) and Jeffery Opoku Agyekum (Killy), the duo's music is a unique blend of various genres with widespread appeal. Their breakout hit, African Gurl featuring Diodjo, took the Ghanaian music scene by storm and earned them numerous award nominations in 2008, including two wins for Discovery of the Year and Pop Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.

Growing up amidst music, the duo was exposed to a variety of genres that continue to influence their songwriting and delivery. Their debut single, Bull (4 better 4 worse), was a collaboration with Batman Samini and featured on the Appietus compilation. Pappi, a hip-hop enthusiast since the 90s, draws inspiration for his music from abstract thoughts, which he channels into his lyrics or paintings. Killy, on the other hand, is a rap connoisseur who overcame his love-hate relationship with the underground music scene to join forces with Pappi three years ago.

5five's unique sound and infectious energy have spawned hit songs like African Gurlz, Lamiokor, Shorty, and Number One Fan, among others. The remix of African Gurlz continues to dominate the airwaves, generating high expectations for their upcoming album.
