Early Life and Education 

 

 

 

Linda osifo grew up with her grandmother, moved to Canada at 16, spent most of her adult years in Toronto, Ontario, before relocating to Lagos, Nigeria, for her acting career. Linda is the first daughter and middle child of her family. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2013.

 

 

 

 

Acting career 

 

 

 

Linda had her first acting role in 2012 in the movie "Family Secrets" in New Jersey, USA, directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka. After returning to Nigeria in late 2013, she starred in her first Nollywood film, 'King Akubueze,' directed by Nonso Emekewe. Linda featured in the popular Nigerian soap opera Tinsel as 'Nina Fire.' In 2017, she played Adesuwa Dakolo in EbonyLife's series 'Fifty' and the role of Noweyhon in Africa Magic's series 'Jemeji.' Currently, Linda co-hosts the "Give 'n' Take National Jackpot" gameshow with Segun Arinze.

 

At the 12th Headies Award, she presented the 'Best Vocal Performance (Male)' award won by Praiz and the 'Best Vocal Performance (Female)' award won by Omawumi alongside Sina Peller. In June 2018, Linda was part of the Campari 'Make it Red' campaign, appearing in the advert with former Big Brother Nigeria housemate Tobi Bakre and artist 2baba.

 

 

 

Philanthropy 

 

 

 

 

Linda's passion for giving back led her to establish the LAO Foundation, which stands for Love and Oneness. This NGO is dedicated to tackling poverty and illiteracy in Nigeria and Africa. The Love And Oneness Foundation (LAO Foundation) recently donated seven computer sets to the Little Saints Orphanage in Shasha, Akowonjo, Lagos.
