Early Life

Genny Uzoma hails from a humble family background and received her primary and secondary education at Command Children School, Abakpa Enugu, and Holy Rosary College, Enugu, respectively. She later earned a degree in political science from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).

Career Beginnings

Embarking on her acting journey at 18, Genny Uzoma joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu chapter. Her debut role in the movie "Mother-in-law" alongside Patience Ozokwor and Bob Manuel Udokwu marked the beginning of her career. After a brief break to work in a telecommunications company, she returned in 2014, gaining recognition for her role as Oma in the TV series "Husbands of Lagos" and starring in the Nollywood blockbuster "Faith Beyond Fate."

Uzoma gained prominence for her portrayal of Oma in the TV series "Husbands of Lagos," along side notable actors such as Kenneth Okolie, Bolanle Ninalowo, Mary Njoku, Uche Odoputa, and Peggy Ovire.
