Hazel Oyeye Onou, popularly known as White Money, is a Nigerian artist, media personality, entrepreneur, and the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 6. He was born on June 6, 1992. White Money is originally from Enugu State, Nigeria, but he spent his childhood in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

Early Life And Education 

Whitemoney, who is of Igbo descent, was born in Enugu State, Nigeria, but he spent his childhood in Kaduna State. In terms of his education, Whitemoney completed his studies up to the NECO level. Although he didn't pursue higher education, he recognizes the value of education. He has expressed a desire to marry a woman who is educated and hopes to provide his future children with a good education.

Career 

Whitemoney relocated to Lagos in search of better job opportunities. He delved into a variety of businesses encompassing commercial photography, barbering, generator repair, and fixing telecommunication towers. He also ventured into the shoe business, importing and selling them.

Beyond business, Whitemoney showcased his talent for music. He produced several songs, including "Rosemary" and "Your Life" both in 2018, and "My Heart" in 2021. He released a hit single titled 'Selense' on the 3rd of December 2021, which was produced by Masterkraft. A music video accompanied the song upon its release.

In 2021, Whitemoney made his debut in the reality TV world by being the fifth contestant to enter the 6th season of Big Brother Naija. His charisma and personality won him many fans, and he ultimately clinched the title of the winner on October 3, 2021. He received a whopping 47% of the final votes, outpacing runner-up Liquorose who garnered 22.99% of the total votes. His victory earned him a grand prize of ₦90 million.

In a twist of fate, Whitemoney returned to the Big Brother Naija house in July 2023, this time for the eighth season, dubbed the "All Stars" edition. Unfortunately, his stint was shorter this time around. On September 17, 2023, he was evicted from the show, finishing in the 11th place after Alex.

Whitemoney's family consists of his mother, two brothers, and father. However, not much information is available about his family, except for the fact that his father left when he was a young child. Whitemoney's mother, Florence Nwachukwu, supported the family through her restaurant business after his father abandoned them.

Whitemoney grew up with two brothers during his childhood. One of his brothers is the CEO of Makky Designer, a fashion enthusiast, and a creator.

Whitemoney is a musician, singer, and songwriter who specializes in Afrobeat, Afropop, and Hip-Hop genres. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Tamy Moyo and Yung L, and has released around six tracks. Some of his popular songs include "Rosemary" (2018), "Your Life" (2018), and "My Heart" (2021), all composed by Whitemoney. On December 3, 2021, he released the track "Selense," produced by Masterkraft, along with a music video. Other well-known songs by Whitemoney include "Na We-We," "Selense," "Rosemary," "Iffy," "Your Life," "Brett Farve," and "My Heart."

Whitemoney is the proud owner of a well-furnished two-bedroom apartment equipped with modern home appliances and electronics. Additionally, as the winner of the Big Brother Naija Show, he was gifted a car from Innoson Motors by the show's organizers. 

He recently purchased a brand-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Maybach S580 for an estimated cost between $150 million. Alongside this, the Innoson G40 he received from the BBnaija Show also forms part of his car collection.
