Uzor Arukwe, born into a family of ten in Lagos State, Nigeria, is the child of Mr. and Mrs. Arukwe. Although his parents hail from Abia State in Nigeria's South Eastern region, Uzor, a true "Lagos Boy," attended elementary school in Lagos. His educational journey took him to the Nigerian Navy School, Port Harcourt, for secondary schooling, after which he returned to his home state for tertiary education at Abia State University, earning a bachelor's degree in economics. Post-graduation, he ventured to Calabar to pursue a master's degree.
In 2014, Uzor Arukwe entered Nollywood with "Unspoken Truth," but his breakthrough came with his role in "Sergeant Tutu" in 2017. Notable for portraying a private investigator in the 2019 film "Code Wilo," he received two nominations for the 2020 African Magic Viewers' Choice Award for "Best Actor in Comedy or Movie" for his roles in "Size 12" and "Smash."
