He attended Goriola Primary School and Oshodi Secondary School, Tolu complex, Olodi Apapa in Ajegunle, Lagos.
He was discovered for his talent at a music talent show held in his local area. It was during this show that he was introduced to Paul Cole, who happened to be the boss of a record label.
In 2010, SolidStar released his debut album "One in a Million," which quickly gained popularity. Notably, the remix of the single "One in a Million" featured the legendary 2face Idibia. Since then, he has consistently produced hit singles and worked with several reputable record labels, including Achievas Entertainment and his current label, SHABA ENTERTAINMENT.

Despite his early association with Ajegunle-style music, SolidStar experimented with different musical styles in his later work. His 2013 album, 'Grace & Glory', didn't receive much acclaim due to its lack of focus. However, his tracks 'Baby Jollof' (2015) with Tiwa Savage and 'My Body' (2015) featuring Timaya were successful and had accompanying videos.
In 2018, SolidStar decided to leave Achievas to seek new challenges. He has performed with several other well-known artists and cites 2Baba, R. Kelly, Kelvin Little, P-Square, and Akon as major influences. He also credits his faith as a source of inspiration for his music.
After ten years, he left Achievas to establish his own label, Shabba Entertainment, and signed a new artist named Jojo. Although the split was initially amicable, SolidStar later accused his former label boss of financial exploitation three years later.
