Sharon Ooja Egwurube (Born on April 6, 1991), she is from Idoma tribe of Benue state. Sharon Ooja was actually born into the family of three sisters in Kaduna state. Sharon Ooja is a working-class Nigerian actress and director, well known for her parts in the Nollywood business that came from her portrayal of Shalewa in the serial opera Skinny Girl in Transit.

Born on April 6, 1991, Sharon Ooja is a well-known actress who goes as Shalewa due to a well-liked character she had in a film.

Growing up, Sharon Ooja lived in the Plateau States of Nigeria and Kaduna, respectively. In 2013, she moved to Lagos State to further her career in theatre.

Education 

Sharon was educated in the northern region of Nigeria for her elementary and secondary education. She then went on to Houdegbe North American University in Benin, where she earned her degree in mass communication.

Career 

In 2013, Sharon relocated to Lagos in order to pursue a professional acting career again, as Lagos is recognised as Nigeria's commercial state where talent is often recognised. Her breakout performance was in the film Skinny Girl in Transit, when she played Shalewa. 

She has starred in other films and television shows since her performance in the invasion movie, and she is now a highly respected actor.

Ooja responded to the rumours by coming out to the public. Sharon Ooja is currently wed to Ugo Nwoke, a well-known businessman from Nigeria. In 2024, they tied the knot.
