She went to Rippon Primary School in Durban and later graduated from Bechet High School. In 2018, she completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Cape Town.

Career

Mbatha's journey to fame started in July 2012 when she auditioned for a TV show. She gained recognition for her role as Thandeka Zungu in the popular series "Isibaya" from 2013 to 2020. Her acting career expanded into films with her debut in "Tell Me Sweet Something" (2015) and various TV projects like "Umlilo" (2015-2016) and "Holiday Swap."
