Born in Diepkloof, Soweto, Johannesburg, Nasty C faced early challenges, losing his mother in a tragic car accident when he was just 11 months old. Raised by his father in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, he developed a passion for music, inspired by his older brother Siyabonga. Nasty C's journey took flight when he released his debut mixtape, "One Kid, a Thousand Coffins," at the age of fourteen. Despite life's adversities, he completed his education at Strelitzia Secondary School in Lotus Park, Durban.

Nasty C's musical journey took off with the release of mixtapes and EPs, paving the way for his debut album "Bad Hair" in 2016 and "Strings and Bling" in 2018. The pivotal Ivyson Tour marked a significant milestone in his career. In 2020, he made a major move by signing a joint venture with Def Jam Records, catapulting him to global recognition with the release of the hit "There They Go." The impact continued with his third album, "Zulu Man with Some Power," solidifying his place on the international stage.
