Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, was a Nigerian musician born on June 8, 1996 (died September 12, 2023), in Lagos. He was a talented rapper, singer, and songwriter. MohBad started his career under the record label "Marlian Records," owned by Naira Marley. However, he decided to leave the label in 2022 to pursue his own path.

MohBad rose to fame with his hit songs like "Ponmo," "Feel Good," and the collaboration "KPK (Ko Por Ke)" with Rexxie. His song "KPK (Ko Por Ke)" was highly acclaimed and received three nominations at The Headies awards in 2022.

MohBad was born in Ketu, Lagos State. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oladimeji, raised him in a comfortable lifestyle. They worked hard to ensure he received a good education. Through the power of social media, he gained a significant following and caught the attention of Naira Marley, who signed him to Marlian Music Records in December 2019. MohBad went on to collaborate with various artists such as Oladips, Rexxie, Micee, Bella Shmurda, Lil Frosh, C Blvck, Zinoleesky, and Naira Marley himself. His songs like KPK (Ko Po Ke), Balan Zia Gar, and Ronaldo became huge hits, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in the music industry.

Controversy 

In February 2022, there was an incident involving MohBad and his fellow artist Zinoleesky. They were arrested by the NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) because they were found in possession of illegal substances. However, they were later released after the matter was resolved.

Then, in October 2022, MohBad accused Naira Marley of domestic violence. This accusation came about after a disagreement between them regarding MohBad's choice to hire a new manager.

The news broke that MohBad has passed away. He was just 27 years old. The sad announcement was made by music executive Ovie on his social media page, where he confirmed MohBad's death. The exact details surrounding his passing are not yet clear. Nigerian rapper Olamide, also known as Olamide Adedeji, shared a cryptic message on his social media handle expressing his sorrow.
