Mary Ghansah, born on May 13, 1959, is a Ghanaian gospel musician and ordained reverend minister, celebrated for a worship career that spans over four decades. Her musical journey is a testament to her profound influence in the gospel music landscape.

Mary, the eldest of five siblings, was born in Tema to Mr. Joseph Ghansah and Madam Elizabeth Anderson. She attended Tema Aggrey Road School and later Kwahuman Secondary School in Nkawkaw, followed by Breman Essikuma Secondary School. After completing her education, Mary worked as a telephone receptionist at P&T Engineering College of Ghana.
Driven by her passion for theology, Mary pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Theology at the Glory Leadership Institute in Sakumono, an affiliate of Trinity College, Legon. In 2012, she was honored with an honorary doctorate degree from New Covenant International University in Florida, USA.
Initiating her musical journey at the tender age of 15, Mary joined the singing group of Power House Evangelistic Ministry. Her ministry expanded across Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Nigeria, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and England. With over 20 albums to her credit, Mary's repertoire includes both her compositions and spiritual songs from various churches nationwide.
Mary Ghansah is happily married to Carl Kwaku Wiafe, providing a strong foundation of support for her musical pursuits.
