Early Life and Education

 

 

Kafui Danku was born on August 16, 1982, in Ho, a town in the Volta Region of Ghana. Her hometown is Tanyigbe-Etoe. She received her basic education at Mawuli Primary and JSS. For her secondary education, she attended Ola Girls School in the Volta Region. Kafui furthered her studies at the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.

 

 

 

Career

 

 

 

Kafui Danku started her career at the United Nations before joining the Ghanaian film industry in 2009. She made her debut in the movie "Agony of the Christ," featuring alongside renowned actors Majid Michel and Nadia Buari. Over time, she has become known as a talented actress and a successful movie producer.

 

Kafui co-owns ABC Limited (ABC Pictures GH), a film production company based in Ghana. She also has a background in pageantry, having competed in Miss Ghana 2004 and winning Miss Greater Accra 2004. In addition to her work in film, Kafui is an advocate, a vlogger, and an author.

Kafui Danku is married to Kojo Pitcher, a Canadian. They tied the knot in 2011 and have two children together, Lorde Ivan Pitcher and Titan Pitcher. Kafui has two siblings. Her mother, Madam Agnes Asigbey, is a retired nurse, and her father was the late John Danku.
