Raised in a Christian family and belonging to the Igbo tribe, he completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown. Achufusi earned a degree in Geology and Geography from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).

Achefusi initiated his career as a model, securing the 6th position at Mr Ideal Nigeria in 2013. Transitioning to acting, he played supporting roles in movies such as "Pretty Little Thing," "Black Rose," "Poka Messiah," and "Ofu Obi."
