Afam Ogbuotobo, known as "Igwegwu Afam Ogbuotobo," was a famous Igbo musician from Onitsha, Nigeria. He played a music style similar to highlife, but it was more accurately described as Onitsha music, a sub-genre of highlife.

The legendary Onitsha musician, Prophet Afam Ogbuotobo, passed away during a time when Igbo music was exceptionally vibrant. He mesmerized both Onitsha and the entire Igbo region with his music during his lifetime, earning a well-deserved reputation.
He was one of the pioneers of Igbo music, predating artists like Ikem Mazeli and others who now perform Onitsha music.
