Early Life and Education 

Esther Audu, born on March 22, 1982, in Ikeja, Lagos, comes from a family with military background, led by her father, Mr. James Audu. Growing up in the Ikeja Military Cantonment, she is the youngest of six siblings. Originally from Olamaboro in Kogi State, Esther attended primary and junior secondary schools in Lagos.

In 2002, her family moved to Abuja, where she completed her high school education. Later, she pursued a degree in Business Management at the University of Jos, Plateau State, graduating in 2010.

Acting Career 

Esther began acting during her secondary school days, initially aspiring to be a newscaster. Her passion for acting grew after representing Nigeria at Kidafest in Ghana in 1996. This experience led her to shift her focus from newscasting to acting. Esther's acting journey took off when she landed lead roles in movies like "Ungodly Romance" and "Sins of Rachael," directed by Alex Mouth in Jos. These early films played a crucial role in launching her into the world of Nollywood.

Even while pursuing her undergraduate degree, Esther continued acting. She took on a sub lead role in the movie "Fatal Mistake," directed by Norbert Ajagu.

Parents and Siblings 

Esther Audu was born on March 22, 1982, in Ikeja, Lagos, to Mr. James Audu, a retired military officer. Her family, including six siblings, lived at the Ikeja Military Cantonment where Esther was born.

Personal Life 

Esther Audu married Philip Ojire, a serial entrepreneur and movie producer who owns Shirt Fever. They've been happily married since 2016 and have a son named Ojire Chevaughn Chiyeme. Esther is now addressed as Esther Audu Ojire.
