Emeka Ike, the second child among five siblings, grew up in Lagos. He attended Eko Primary School and later Apata Memorial High School. After completing his high school education, he obtained a West African Senior School Certificate. Following that, he pursued a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Lagos.

Acting Career

Emeka discovered his love for performing in high school, engaging in stage plays and other artistic activities. He took his first step into the world of acting while studying at the University of Lagos, kickstarting a successful career. The breakthrough moment arrived with his role in the 1995 movie "Deadly Affair," thrusting him into the spotlight.

Children, Marriages, and Divorce 

Emeka Ike's marital journey hasn't been as smooth as his successful career. After his first marriage to Suzanne, a half-Dutch, half-Nigerian teacher, they exchanged vows in 2000 and were blessed with four children.

Unfortunately, their union faced challenges, leading to Suzanne filing for divorce in 2015 after a two-year argument. The Lagos Island Customary Court granted Emeka custody of their four children, allowing Suzanne visitation rights. Notably, Emeka received N300, the bride price he had paid during their marriage.

Later, Emeka found love again at a German award ceremony, and he and his new spouse welcomed their firstborn daughter. Currently serving as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Ike resides with his family in Lagos, Nigeria.

Emeka recounted a troubling incident: his ex-wife visited his secondary school, dismissed all the kids, and closed the school while he was still abroad. Upon returning home, he found his house empty as she had taken all his belongings.
