Dakore Egbuson-Akande (born on October 14, 1978), widely recognized as Dakore Akande, is a popular Nigerian actress, brand Ambassador and performing artist. She hail from Bayelsa State, where she both spent her formative years and pursued her education. Notably, Dakore serves as an ambassador for Amnesty International. She is the CEO and founder of Dakora Beauty.

Dakore Akande, the eldest child in her family, was born in Bayelsa State, South-South Nigeria. She attended Federal Government Girls’ College in Lagos and Corona School in Bauchi. Due to strikes, her pursuit of mass communication at the University of Lagos was cut short.

Career
