Chelsea Eze, whose full name is Chelsea Ada Ezerioha, is a well-known Nigerian actress and television personality. She was born on November 15, 1985 in Kano state, a state located in the northern part of Nigeria, but originally hails from Umuahia, Abia state, Nigeria. She is best known for her role in the film “Silent Scandal,” in which she acted alongside top Nigerian actresses and actors such as Genevieve Nnaji and Majid Michael.

Early Life And Education

Chelsea Eze, originally Chelsea Ada Ezerioha, hails from Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. Born into a family of bankers in Kano State, she spent her formative years in the north. Chelsea attended Federal Government Girls College, Minjibir, and St. Louis Secondary School in Kano for her secondary education. Post that, she pursued a degree in English and Linguistics at the University of Maiduguri, graduating in 2008.

Career

Despite lacking natural talent, Chelsea Ada Eze achieved success as an actress through dedicated effort. Initially an introvert, she developed her communication skills in secondary school by joining the literary and debate club. Acting wasn't her initial career choice; she aspired to be a lawyer, doctor, or aeronautical engineer. However, her journey into acting began during her tertiary education when a friend introduced her to a film shoot directed by Emem Isong in 2017.

Emem Isong encouraged Chelsea to face the camera during the shoot, marking her first audition. In 2009, Vivian Ejike, a colleague of Emem Isong, sought an actress with Chelsea's physique for the film "Silent Scandals." Emem Isong connected Chelsea with Vivian Ejike, leading to her debut role in the Nollywood film industry.
