Benjamin Abba Nnayelugo, popularly known as Ben Touitou, was born on January 22, 1988, in Enugu State, Nigeria. His father, a Jewish-Israeli civil engineer and architect, and his mother, a Christian-Nigerian professor at Babcock University, raised him and his younger sister in Enugu State. After finishing his early education, Ben went to Valley View University in Accra, Ghana, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2010.

Ben started his career as a model in the fashion industry. However, in 2013, he switched to acting. He was introduced to the Royal Arts Academy by his modeling agency, and that's where he met Uduak Isong. Uduak Isong then introduced him to the famous Nigerian filmmaker, Emem Isong. Ben's first significant role was 'Lawrence' in the movie 'Lagos Cougars', directed by Desmond Elliot and produced by Emem Isong. Ben is well-known for his roles in Iroko TV movies, where he often plays a charming romantic lead.
