In October 2021, Medikal faced legal issues for showing a gun on social media. He was charged with unlawfully displaying arms and ammunition and pleaded not guilty. Subsequently, an Accra Circuit court remanded him to prison custody for 5 days. On Tuesday, October 26, after the remand period, he was granted bail.
