Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson, widely recognized by her stage name Abiana, is a prominent Ghanaian singer and songwriter specializing in Soul, Neo Soul, and Highlife genres. Notably, she clinched the Best Female Vocal Performance award at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, showcasing her exceptional talent and vocal prowess.

Early Life and Education

 

 

 

Abiana, the first of six siblings born to Samuel Dickson and Esther Mawusi Kotitse, spent her formative years attending St John’s Grammar for secondary education. Later, she pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

 

 

 

Career

 

 

Her musical journey began in 2013 as a backing vocalist for Afro Harmony Band, and in 2014, she took the lead singer role in Hsykul band. Abiana embarked on her solo career in 2020, marking a significant turning point by signing with +233 Records. Notably, she contributed to Okyeame Kwame's "Bolgatanga girl," which earned the Record of the Year award at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
